CEDA Applauds PADF and DSI/OAS Appointment as Joint Technical Secretariat for the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection

Joins as Permanent Strategic Advisor to Strengthen Regional Migration Governance

The Center for Engagement and Advocacy in the Americas (CEDA) congratulates the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and the Department of Social Inclusion (DSI) of the Organization of American States (OAS) for their selection as the joint Technical Secretariat of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection. CEDA is proud to join them as an independent Permanent Strategic Advisor to the Technical Secretariat in this endeavor. This critical appointment will bolster hemispheric collaboration and continue to mobilize efforts across the region to advance innovative migration governance in the Americas.

CEDA remains committed to advancing the goals of the Los Angeles Declaration by providing thought leadership, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and ensuring the voices of impacted communities are central to policy discussions. 

We look forward to working hand in hand with the Technical Secretariat and other stakeholders to drive progress and amplify the impact of the Los Angeles Declaration.
