CUBA: National Association of Manufacturers Delegation 05/07/2017

In May 2017, CDA organized a trip to Cuba in partnership with the National Association of Manufacturers, the largest manufacturing association in the United States representing small and large manufacturers in every industrial sector. The delegation learned about the economic, political, and social context for U.S.-Cuba trade. Trip participants included NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons, NAM Vice President of Board Initiatives Jeannine Pierce, members of the Board of Directors for the NAM, and NAM members representing companies throughout the United States. The visit included meetings with senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment, the Ministry of Transportation, diplomats serving on the island, foreign business leaders, and Cuban civil society.
